In Israel, the delegation visited world-renowned technology innovation incubators such as DayDayUp and the Techcode Israel China Innovation Center. They held discussions with a number of companies and investment funds to learn about Israel's scientific and technological innovations related to AI and biology. The two parties intended to form either a mutual cooperation platform or an innovation incubator.

In Portugal, Cai and his delegation visited the Cascais city hall and met with Rita Marques Guedes, co-chair assistant of the International Finance Forum (IFF). Guedes expressed her support for Nansha's proposal of building an industrial park for Portuguese-speaking countries. She also said she would like to help promote cooperation between Nansha and Portuguese-speaking countries.

Cai said that Nansha would provide support for innovative Swedish enterprises looking to set up R&D and manufacturing operations in Nansha. Already home to a number of intelligent electric vehicle R&D and manufacturing centers and industrial clusters, the district aims to transform itself into a hub for auto scientists, as well as a global sci-tech innovation center.
