On the evening of Jan 1, 2019, the Xinghai Concert Hall will also put on its 27th Guangzhou New Year Concert, organized by the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra. The concert is the oldest New Year concert in China named after a city. The concert will feature renowned conductor Wing-sie Yip, famous cellist Wang Jian, violinist Xie Nan, and low baritone singer Shen Yang. The audience will be given a little New Year treat with a fusion of instrumental and vocal music.
