Guangzhou Mino Automotive Equipment Co, a major auto equipment company in South China's Guangdong province, has signed a strategic cooperative agreement with German electronics manufacturer Siemens AG, to jointly develop global digital business.
According to the agreement, both sides will jointly establish an innovative center and develop an international coordinative system in digital business.
"Digitalization will be a core factor to help drive a quality growth for China's industrial development. Chinese companies, such as Mino, has been actively engaged in development of digital business," said Wang Haibin, executive vice-president and general manager of Digital Factory Division, Siemens Ltd, China.
"We will join hands with Chinese companies to develop more digital products and solutions to increase productive efficiency and boost product competitiveness," he said.
The main business of Mino, which was established in 2008, is to provide body in white (BIW) automatic welding lines, power-train and new energy manufacturing equipment, electrical automation and robotics applications integration and services.
