Documentary enthusiasts in Guangzhou will be treated a film feast from Dec 8 to 16, with the Golden Kapok Film Exhibition, a key component of the 2018 Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival (GZDOC), showcasing 60 world-famous documentary films in the southern Chinese city.

Online ticket sales began on Dec 4 and prices for the films range from 15 yuan ($2.2) to 80 yuan ($11.7). People can follow the WeChat account GZDOC-Official for more details about the films and theatres.
From Dec 8 to 9, GZDOC will join hands with the UK's Kendall Mountain Film Festival to launch a series of mountain carnival activities.

The GZDOC has collected 4,542 works from 122 countries and regions on five continents for this year's film festival. This year's exhibition and screening event will mark the world premiere of several of the films on show.
