The Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City in Guangzhou Development District (GDD) is teaming up with leading real estate group Greenland to build a center to boost GDD's innovation-driven development.
On Oct 30, the Guangzhou Development District management committee signed a cooperation agreement with Greenland.
According to the agreement, the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City and Greenland will invest over 10 billion yuan ($1.4 billion) in a national level industrial park, integrating an innovation R&D platform, business offices and a high-end talents service center.

The park will gather together the core driving forces of industrial transformation such as next-generation information technology, big data, fintech and artificial intelligence, and strive to build a first-class, China-led and internationally renowned innovation-driven development demonstration zone and international innovation resources cluster.
