The musicians came from seven different orchestras, including the Guangzhou Youth Palace Orchestra and the Sheng Kung Hui Choi Kou School Orchestra. More than 20 different styles of music, including wind ensembles, string ensembles, and jazz ensembles were performed at the event.

Organizers said that the event was aimed at building a platform for communication, exchange and understanding among young people from Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Macao through musical performances and cultural root-seeking activities, allowing them to deepen their understanding of Lingnan culture and enhance their Chinese cultural identity.

The event was hosted by the Guangzhou Youth Federation, Guangzhou Youth Palace and Nansha Youth Federation.
