The events will be organized by the Guangzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, cultural museums across the city and intangible cultural heritage inheritors.
From June 1 to 10, more than 50 intangible cultural heritage workshops and exhibition rooms, folk customs sites, and martial arts clubs across the city will open to the public. Visitors will be able to attend lectures and training sessions, watch Lingnan traditional arts performances and exhibitions, and buy special products.
The Guangzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center also encourages locals to sign up as volunteers for the event and record short videos while visiting intangible cultural heritage sites. The best videos will be posted on the official page of a famous short video-sharing platform.
