Dance show offers a peek at Guangdong’s artistic achievements

Guangzhou residents were treated to a variety of dances performed by famous artistic groups including Guangdong Song and Dance Ensemble, Guangzhou Song and Dance Theatre and Guangdong Modern Dance Company at Friendship Theater on Dec 27.

The dances exhibited the artistic accomplishments that Guangdong has achieved since the founding of People's Republic of China in 1949 and showed the spiritual pursuits and traits of Guangdong's dancers.

Most of the performances feature distinctive Guangdong elements and have great social influences.
