Guangzhou KingMed Diagnostics Group, a third-party company dedicated to medical testing in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, has established a medical academic committee, aiming to boost its innovation strength in medical technology.
The committee is led by Zhong Nanshan, a renowned respiratory expert and academic at the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and consists of three other leading academics and 23 domestic and overseas experts in the areas of medical testing, pathology and clinical trials.
"The academic committee will be dedicated to advanced technology research and the development of testing, pathology and clinical trial areas," said Liang Yaoming, CEO of Guangzhou KingMed Diagnostics.
According to Liang, the company will also push forward development of a biological sample library, a health care big data base and assistive diagnosis by artificial intelligence.
KingMed Diagnostics, which became listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in September, plans to lead the way in terms of innovation and industrial clusters and build a world-renowned medical diagnosis innovation center, according to Liang.
