Luhu Lake is located at the southern foot of Baiyun Mountain, on top of which visitors can enjoy a grand view overlooking the whole city of Guangzhou.

The park, rests between Luhu Lake and Baiyun Mountain, covering an area of 250 hectares. It contains many curved bridges, pavilions and historic buildings, and offers an ideal place for people to immerse oneself in nature. With lush vegetation, people from near and far come to appreciate blooming flowers every spring and leaves falling from trees in autumn.

Xian Xinghai Memorial Garden is immensely popular among local residents and tourists alike. It was built in 1985 in honor of the great Chinese composer Xian Xinghai (1905-45), who is famous for The Yellow River Cantata.
