Herald of spring

Cherries put forth their blossoms between February and March in Guangzhou, and the flowers simply remain for seven days.

Cherry blossoms enjoy great popularity all over the world. They are considered primroses, attributed to early flowerings. Local residents and visitors are blessed to feast their eyes with the breathtaking cherry blossoms in Guangzhou.

People can admire the flowers at South China Agricultural University, Million Sunflower Garden, and Tianshi Amusement Park, Conghua district, where hundreds of thousands of cherry trees are grown, attracting millions of tourists every year.
