Guangzhou tourism bureau impressed visitors in Beijing and Tianjin on Dec 14 and 16 with a presentation of the exciting cultural activities Guangzhou plans to host during the upcoming Spring Festival.
The activities were held as part of Guangzhou's ongoing promotional tour designed to boost tourism to the city in Guangdong province.

Centering on the subjects of celebrating Chinese New Year and admiring the winter jasmine, Guangzhou's city flower, the promotion delegation presented the city's history, culture, customs and food through a series of videos. Cantonese Opera was also performed to attract more tourists.

The promotional tour will also stop at Shanghai and Harbin on Dec 27 and Jan 9.
According to the administration of forestry and gardening of Guangzhou, further major activities will be held in January and February, including the 23th Guangzhou Garden Expo, Yuexiu Lantern Festival and a series of performances and art exhibitions held in parks around the city.
