Goal of cutting overcapacity in steel industry achieved in Guangdong province

Guangzhou hereby announces that the city has completed the task of cutting surplus production in the steel industry in 2016.

To carry out the State's policy to solve overcapacity in steel industry, Guangzhou has shut down 14 steel enterprises and cut surplus production capacity by 3.07 million tons.
