The Mogao Grottoes, one of the country’s three major Buddhist art treasures, are located at Dunhuang, near the west end of the Gansu (Hexi) Corridor.
Lanzhou Zhongshan Bridge, also known as Yellow River Iron Bridge, is at the foot of the White Pagoda Mountain.
Kongtong Mountain is located 12 kilometers to the west of Pingliang city, Northwest China’s Gansu province. It is close to Xi'an from the east, next to Lanzhou from the west, neighbors Baoji from the south and is near to Yinchuan from the north. Not surprisingly it was a fortress on the ancient Silk Road.
Situating at the south bank of the Yellow River at the northernmost part of Yuzhong County in Southwest China’s Gansu province, the ancient town of Qingcheng is the only provincial-level historical and cultural town and the hometown of folk art in Lanzhou city, which is also an ancient Gansu town with well-preserved ancient dwellings.
The statue is an incredibly beautiful sculpture depicting the Yellow River as the mother of the Chinese nation, and has high artistic value.
Listed as a national intangible cultural heritage, Lanzhou waterwheel was invented by Duan Xu in Duanjiatan, Lanzhou, back in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and first built for irrigation purpose in Gulaohuang.
Standing on the south bank of the Yellow River and looking to the north side, we can see a cluster of buildings in the White Pagoda Hill Park.
