On June 23, Lanzhou Rail Transit Line 1 marked its fifth anniversary, celebrating 1,826 days of safe and efficient travel.

Over this period, Line 1, covering an operational mileage of 11.26 million train kilometers, has run a total of 504,500 passenger trips and transported more than 320 million passengers.

With the recent addition of Line 2, the entire network now spans 35 kilometers. This expansion has played a crucial role in boosting the city's public transportation system, placing it among the top 10 in the country in terms of passenger flow.

The attractiveness of the public transportation system in Lanzhou has significantly increased, with the traffic sharing rate of 23 percent.
