All 27 signd projects of the past three China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair (CLITF), with a total investment of 29 billion yuan ($4.02 billion), have started construction in Qilihe district, Lanzhou, Gansu province, some of which have already finished their work.

Qian Wenjing, deputy director of the district's bureau of commerce, said these words on June 27 when receiving an interview involving the upcoming CLITF event.

Lanzhou Wanda City has a total construction area of about 2.6 million square meters. From the beginning of its launch, it has attracted great attention with its innovative design, multiple formats and super large volume.

On May 26, the Lanzhou Wanda Mall opened its doors, becoming the biggest single mall in Northwest China.

It drew 300,000 visitors on the first day and over a million people within three days by virtue of the ice and snow park, ocean park, rainforest park, water park and sports park, according to Xia Changde, engineering director of the mall.

In November 2019, China Resources, a Fortune Global 500 company, signed a contract with Lanzhou Dongjiao School. They jointly completed the construction of the future city branch of Lanzhou Dongjiao School on May 20, 2022, with the help of the Lanzhou Education Bureau and Qilihe district's government.

As a public nine-year consistent school directly under the municipal education bureau, the project has set up 84 classes, including 48 classes for primary schools and 36 classes for junior high schools.

In addition, it was equipped with a year-round constant temperature indoor swimming pool, a 3,700-sq m indoor sports field, a 1,350-sq m aesthetic library and laboratories for various subjects.

In recent years, Qilihe has made steady progress in investment promotion, in a bid to accumulate momentum for high-quality development.
