Guan'egou National Forest Park in Tanchang county, Longnan, Gansu province, transforms into a silvery-white wonderland in the depths of winter, presenting a magnificent scene where dozens of frozen waterfalls hang like jade ribbons from the cliffs, with translucent ice pillars and layered ice curtains glistening under the soft winter light.

Together with snow-capped ridges, frost-covered trees, and vast, misty forests, the landscape resembles a fairy tale, attracting visitors from near and far to admire, photograph, and immerse themselves in serene beauty.

To enhance the visitor experience, the scenic area has upgraded its facilities, adding anti-slip walkways and clear safety signage to ensure a secure journey through the icy terrain. A newly opened local food zone also allows guests to savor regional specialties while taking in the breathtaking winter scenery.

As winter tourism continues to gain popularity, Guan'egou has emerged as a key attraction in Longnan's cold-season travel circuit. The growing number of visitors has not only boosted the park's profile but also stimulated growth in nearby homestays and rural guesthouses, and increased sales of local agricultural products, creating new pathways for community income and injecting fresh vitality into rural vitalization efforts.
