On Aug17, 2024, paragliding athletes were seen competing in a precision landing event at the Baersi Tourist Area in Sunan Yugur autonomous county, Zhangye, Gansu province.
The Baersi Snow Mountain Gansu Provincial Paragliding Elite Competition - Zhangye Sunan Station officially kicked off at the International Paragliding Base in the Barse Tourist Area. The event has drawn 45 top-tier paragliding experts, including Chen Yang, the Paragliding World Cup champion, and Kong Xiangyan, the women's Paragliding World Cup champion. Over the course of five days, these aerial aces will vie for supremacy in both speed and precision landing competitions.
