China and Malaysia have enjoyed a close friendship for so long, built on mutual understanding and shared prosperity. In recent years, with the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative, exchanges and cooperation between Qingyang city and Malaysia have deepened, yielding significant results.

Today's Qingyang is actively embracing the world with a more open attitude and a renewed image. The city is deeply involved in the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, vigorously developing an outward-oriented economy, and promoting high-level opening-up and the Qingyang practice of Chinese-style modernization. With its strong foundation for mutually beneficial cooperation, complementary advantages, vast potential, and broad prospects, Qingyang is well-positioned to deepen its collaboration with relevant parties in Malaysia.

The 2024 China (Qingyang) - Malaysia Cultural Week provides a new platform for enhancing understanding between the two sides, opens up new avenues for strengthening exchanges, and injects new impetus into cooperation and development. It is expected to further deepen policy communication, accelerate infrastructure, promote trade, advance financial integration, and enhance people-to-people exchanges, propelling cooperation in all fields.

During the project promotion and cultural and tourism exchange conference, four Qingyang companies and three Malaysian companies signed agreements on TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), agricultural product exports, and tourism cooperation, with a total contract value of $26 million.
