The glamorous autumn scenery is actually hidden in some parts of the country, but in the outskirts of Lanzhou, capital of Gansu province, there are picturesque mountain views to behold.

The Yunding Mountain Scenic Area, located in Lanzhou's Qilihe district, 23 kilometers away from the downtown area, is part of the Shifogou National Forest Park.

When autumn emerges, the mountain turns into a colorful rainbow of dazzling yellow and red leaves and green trees.

The mountain covers an area of 2,935 hectares, with its highest altitude reaching 3,124 meters. Having a forest coverage rate of over 70 percent, it is a popular scenic spot for sightseeing, leisure and entertainment.
