Spring is the most crucial season for farming. In Northwest China's Gansu province, farmers are busy working the vast fields, creating vibrant scenery across the beautiful countryside.

Residents of the province's Gannan Tibetan autonomous prefecture mainly grow wheat, highland barley, herbs and vegetables.

In recent years, efforts have been made to strengthen technical guidance, as well as promote agricultural mechanization and the use of organic fertilizers. This has led to improved soil quality and the cultivation of more environmentally friendly and valuable agricultural products.
