With a total investment of 200 million yuan ($29.06 million), Sam's Club opened a two-story store and a 23-story commercial building in Wenzhou, a coastal city in East China's Zhejiang province, on Dec 18.
The complex covers an area of 2.86 hectares, with an indoor space of 127,800 square meters.
Sam's Club is a global membership warehouse club boasting a history of 40 years. The first Sam's Club in China was opened in Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong province in August 1996. Sam's Club has multiple clubs in China, located in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou and Suzhou.
