Wenzhou's Tongxin Homeland recently hosted an international cultural exchange event celebrating the cherished Dragon Boat Festival. The event was a vibrant showcase of the festival's traditions.

The event featured Anna from Russia, who played the guzheng, a zither-like traditional Chinese stringed instrument, to the backdrop of a qipao fashion show, and Laurie from the United States, who embraced the festival's spirit by showing off her Chinese calligraphy. Laurie, whose life is now rooted in Wenzhou through her daughter's work at Wenzhou-Kean University, shared her delight in the festivities and her love for the city.

Highlighting the educational ties, Li Jinlan from Thailand's Burapha University praised Wenzhou's welcoming nature, which has fostered confidence among Thai students at Wenzhou University.

Local immigration authorities contributed by addressing visa inquiries and facilitating better integration for international residents with helpful guides.

Danping Fang, president of the European World Qipao Association, extended the event's reach by inviting leaders of overseas Chinese communities from Japan and Italy, aiming to spread awareness of China's rich cultural heritage.
