"If I was to choose a car to represent myself, it would be the Geely Boyue! Because it is designed for young people and it looks young and energetic, just like me," said Ruben from Spain, sales manager of Geely.

Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, a Chinese automotive manufacturing company based in Hangzhou of East China's Zhejiang province, is an international company that attracts a diverse pool of workers from all over the world.

"I get along with my colleagues very well," Ruben said, adding that he makes a lot of jokes in the office because of his misunderstanding of Chinese culture.

Salvo, an Italian and a cross-cultural communication tutor in Geely's HR department, said that he often works as a bridge between his Chinese and fellow foreign colleagues to handle cross-cultural issues, as the way of thinking in China and foreign countries is sometimes quite different.

"We always have the opportunity to travel to different places, and I design for product promotion, which fits my major very well. It's really wonderful," said Brendan from Ireland, brand manager of photo and video for Geely LYNK&CO, a new car brand of Geely Group.

Speaking of his job, Brendan said proudly that he thinks of himself as practically half Chinese.

"We have two market departments, respectively responsible for the Swedish market and Chinese market. And I always prefer the Chinese market department, so they say that I am a family member of them."

Since its successful acquisition of Volvo, one of the most well-known and respected car brands in the world in 2010, Geely has embarked on its international journey, in which foreign workers plays a crucial role.

"Without our talented pool of workers, there wouldn't be Geely today," said Li Shufu, founder and chairman of Geely Group.
