Zhejiang Sci-Tech University
Located in Hangzhou, a world-famous historic city, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University (ZSTU) boasts a history of over 120 years and covers an area of more than 140 hectares.
ZSTU is a provincial university featuring engineering and collaborative development of science, engineering, liberal arts, economics, management, law, arts and education. It has 17 colleges offering 63 undergraduate majors. There are more than 26,000 full-time students, including 3,500 graduate students.
ZSTU has a highly qualified faculty of over 2,000 teaching and administrative staff, among whom there are over 880 teachers with the rank of associate professor or above, and over 260 teachers with the professional rank of professor. It boasts two Ministry of Education innovation teams, seven provincial technology innovation teams, a provincial key culture innovation team, and five provincial higher education innovation teams.
ZSTU is currently focusing on its scientific research work, enhancing its academic level in scientific research, and completing a series of national science and technology projects and national, provincial and ministry scientific research projects. It has won seven second prizes of the national technological invention awards, five second prizes and one third prize of the national technological progress awards, one Lu Xun Literature Prize, one Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation science and technology innovation award, and over 150 provincial and ministry prizes.
Moreover, ZSTU has established cooperative relationships with over 100 education and scientific research institutions from more than 20 countries and regions, rapidly developing educational programs for international students.
