Zhejiang Conservatory of Music
The Zhejiang Conservatory of Music (ZJCM) is a publicly-funded institution approved by the Ministry of Education. Located in Xihu district of Hangzhou, it covers over 40 hectares, the school building construction area reaching 360,000 square meters. The value of the facilities for teaching is 206 million yuan ($32.24 million).
The conservatory offers a wide range of music and arts instruction for talented students from China and abroad. Programs range widely from composition, conducting, vocalization, and various instruments to music technology, drama studies, and dance performance. ZJCM houses 12 academic departments and four professional performing ensembles. Its 40-hectare picturesque campus can accommodate up to 5,000 full-time students. Currently it has 2,467 students, including 210 graduates.

ZJCM is also equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including 9 concert halls, 102 rehearsal halls, 842 practice rooms and 7 top-notch recording studios.
