Hangzhou to hold global cross-border e-commerce summit
The third Global Cross-border E-Commerce Summit will take place in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province from June 27 to 29, to discuss the construction of the Digital Silk Road.
Sponsored by China (Hangzhou) Cross-Border E-Commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area, the summit will have more than 1,000 person-timesattendees, and attract domestic and overseas well-known cross-border e-commerce platforms, logistics companies, and foreign trade service enterprises.
A batch of e-commerce companies, including Alibaba, Paytm, Shopee and JollyChic, will share their experiences in cross-border e-commerce at the summit. Experts and scholars will also share their points of view on the Digital Silk Road and economic globalization.
Meanwhile, executives of famous e-commerce platforms, like Amazon, eBay, Google and Facebook will be invited to have anin-depth exchanges of views on how to restructure the trade chain relying on cross-border e-commerce companies, how to upgrade manufacturing under the digital trade, and how to promote the internationalization of Chinese brands.
Different from the previousformer summits, this summit will consist of a one-day theme forum and a two-day exhibition of Amazon seller’s products.
Then 5,000 superior Amazon Chinese sellers and 400 domestic manufacturers will communicate and trade with each other on the exhibition.
A cross-border e-commerce innovation and development report, the first of its kind in China, will also be released at the summit, which will be a reference for the future development of cross-border e-commerce around the country.
The Global Cross-border E-Commerce Summit has been successfully held twice since 2016.
