Abstract: Community governance serves as the cornerstone of national governance, which shoulders the great mission of consolidating the regime foundation and making the society vigorous and harmonious. But its ultimate goal should be improving people’s sense of satisfaction, happiness and safety. Currently, citizens generally hope that their communities could be safer and more comfortable, convenient and considerate, which means that high-quality life is their main expectation for community governance. In practice, some cities have clearly made this the goal of community governance, and have made progress by innovating the approaches with the CPC local branches as the central force in guiding institutional and social coordination, creating public space in communities, and incorporating community governance to community services, thus achieving good results in the synergy of development and governance, social order and vitality. To realize high-quality life, community governance innovation should take the grass-roots Party construction as the main line of community governance, community development as the driving force, the "integration of three governance" as the key aspects, community service as the means, and community culture as the link of building the community governmance.
