Abstract: The online food delivery service is an important connection of the traditional catering industry with the new Internet format, as well as an important new form of consumption. In just a few years, the online food delivery industry has grown from scratch and developed from small to large scale, with the market getting gradually mature. The user scale and transaction of the platform have repeatedly broken records. The new format has promoted natural integration of online and offline consumption through innovation, played an important role in promoting industrial transformation and encouraging employment and entrepreneurship, and fostered and strengthened new momentum for economic transformation and upgrading under the new circumstances. In the new era, the development of China’s online food delivery service market and platforms presents new trends and new characteristics, which puts forward new requirements for industry governance and platform supervision. We need to actively adapt to the new situation of industrial development, adhere to the principles of inclusiveness, prudence and coordinated supervision, optimize industry governance concepts, improve the regulatory framework, keep the bottom line of food safety, maintain fair competition, guide the food delivery platform and online market to standardize in development , firmly serve the strategy of expanding domestic demand, and accelerate the expansion and quality improvement of new forms of consumption.
