Abstract: Located in the farthest to the northern part of Tianjin municipality, Jizhou district is the only mountain administrative region and it is also an important water source responsible for ecological conservation and protection of the whole city. Since the 18th CPC National Congress, Jizhou district has fully implemented the notion that green mountains and clear waters are invaluable assets, followed the concept of ecological conservation and adhered to the stance of giving priority to ecological conservation and green development. Owing to these efforts, its ecological merits have been continuously solidified and broadened, the type of its ecological products enriched and its ecological value increased. The major practices of Tianjin in pushing ahead with the realization of its ecological products value are as follows: 1. It has adhered to a high-standard plan and pooled efforts from various sides for green development synergies; 2. It has launched and realized some major ecological construction projects. 3. It has pushed ahead with ecology-based industrialization and industry-based ecologization. 4. It has strived to enhance “ecology Plus tourism” model and promoted the integration of different industries. The realization of ecological product value in Jizhou district has paid special attention to continuously promoting the compensation mechanism for regional ecological conservation based on the evaluation of ecological product value. And work has also be done to enhance the relevant economic policies and market-oriented mechanism, continuously explore ways for increasing the value of ecological products through industrialization and accelerate the model innovation of ecological products operation entities.
