Li Wei, Director of the Population, Resources and Environment Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and President of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), led members of the Population, Resources and Environment Committee of the CPPCC National Committee to the China Meteorological Administration to learn about weather services on June 14. More than 20 members participated in the survey.

They visited the public weather service center, the National Meteorological Center, the National Satellite Meteorological Center, the National Meteorological Information Center, and the National Climate Center and other units to study the release of early warnings and other meteorological services such as forecasting, satellite remote sensing applications, data sharing, and services in response to climate changes and construction of ecological civilization.
