Li Wei, President of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), met with Shri Vijay Gokhale, India’s new Ambassador to China, on Mar 1.

They exchanged views on Sino-Indian trade and the dialogue between DRC and NITI Aayog. Mr. Li introduced China’s macro-economic situation and measures taken to promote economic reform.

Tao Pingsheng, Vice-Director of DRC's General Office, Jiang Xiheng, Cheng Guoqiang, Vice Director General of Department of International Cooperation of DRC and Zhang Qi, Vice Director General of Research Department of Foreign Economic Relations of DRC were also present.
