The Department of International Cooperation of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) held a symposium from Feb 16-19. Experts from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) were invited to the symposium, including Wang Xiaojun, Lead Adviser for South-South Cooperation and Max Everest Phillips, Director of its Global Center for Public Service Excellence (UNDP GCPSE).
On Feb 17, both sides exchanged views on knowledge production, sharing and communication management and the basic structure of China’s Knowledge Center for International Development. The symposium was hosted by Cheng Guoqiang, Director General of the DRC’s Department of International Cooperation.
During Feb 18-19, Cheng and his colleague, Jiang Xiheng spoke with experts about the issues on China’s Knowledge Center for International Development, the think tank network for the Silk Road, Silk Road Forum and cooperative research on the Belt and Road.
