DRC holds clean gas seminar in Hangzhou

More than 20 experts talked about China's energy system reform and its impact on clean gas energy development at a seminar in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, on Aug 13-14.

The seminar studied the development of gas energy at home and abroad, and touched upon topics like natural gas futures, shale gas development trend in the United States, and vehicles and ships fueled by natural gas.

The seminar was organized by the Research Institute of Resources and Environment Policies of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC). Experts from the DRC and other government and business bodies, including China Energy Research Society, Transport Planning and Research Institute under Ministry of Transportation, Huadian Electric Power Research Institute, Development Research Center of the China Geological Society, Shanghai International Energy Exchange, and Sinopec attended.

Gao Shiji, Director-General of the DRC's Research Institute of Resources and Environment Policies chaired the seminar, and DRC research fellows Guo Jiaofeng and Hongtao took park in the meeting.
