DRC studies informatization for China's economy

The "Upgrading China's Economy through Informatization" project research group of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) held a workshop in Beijing, on June 30, to get some opinions of experts in the field.

The center's Vice-President Long Guoqiang was on hand to address the meeting, and the project coordinator, Li Guangqian, briefed main content and conclusion of the project report.

Presiding over the meeting was Zhao Shukai, Director-General of the DRC's Information Center. The other speakers included Gao Xinmin, Executive Vice-Chairman of China Information Association, Chen Wei, Director of Software Services Department of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Gong Xiaofeng, Director of International Economic and Technological Cooperation Center of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Gao Shiji, Director-General of DRC's Research Institute of Resources and Environment Policies, Ma Jun, Director-General of DRC's Enterprise Research Institute, and Cui Shufeng, Director of Government Department's Research Center of Tencent Company.

Also taking part in the meeting was Hou Weining, Vice-Director-General of DRC's Information Center.
