A delegation from the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) led by President Li Wei conducted a survey on economic operations in the cities of Harbin and Daqing in Heilongjiang Province, on May 27-29.

The delegation visited several local enterprises, including Harbin Electric International Co Ltd, Harbin Sanjing Pharmaceuticals Co, Harbin Xinda Group, and Daqing Petroleum Equipment Group and also held a meeting on the economic situation in Harbin.

Wang Xiankui, Secretary of Heilongjiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Lu Hao, governor of Heilongjiang Province met with the delegation, with other department officials and enterprise heads also in attendance.

Others who took part in the survey include Yu Bin, Director of DRC's General Office, Hou Yongzhi, Director-General of its Department of Development Strategy and Regional Economy, and Ye Xingqing, Director-General of the Research Department of Rural Economy.
