The 6th Tribune of Perspectives into China's Economy took place in Beijing, on Jan 24, which brought in more than 300 members of government, economics departments, enterprises and media.

Li Wei, President of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), addressed the opening ceremony by speaking on understanding the new normal and promoting economic growth to a new stage. Also addressing the gathering were DRC Vice-Presidents Liu Shijin and Long Guoqiang, and another Vice-President, Zhang Junkuo, who spoke on speeding up the new normal development pattern.

Hosts of the meeting were the DRC and China Economic Times, with Zhang Laiming, DRC Vice-President, hosting the opening ceremony.
