President Li Wei meets with head of Japan-China Economic Association

President Li Wei met with Iwao Okamoto, president of Japan-China Economic Association on Dec 29. Okamoto briefed Li on the 8th Japan-China Energy Conservation Forum. The two sides discussed issues about the 33rd annual meeting of China-Japan Symposium of Economic Knowledge Exchanges and exchanged views on bilateral trade and macroeconomic issues in both countries. Also present at the meeting was Cheng Guoqiang, head of DRC’s International Cooperation Department; Zhao Jinping, director-general of Department of Foreign Economic Relations; and Gao Shiji, director-general of the Research Institute for Resources and Environment Policies.
