The fifth China Public Management Forum was held in Beijing on Aug 24 around the theme "Deepening Reform and Carrying out National Governance Comprehensively." Li Wei, minister of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), and Liu Shijin, vice-minister of the DRC, attended the forum and made a speech. DRC Vice-Minister Zhang Junkuo presided over the opening ceremony and hosted a seminar on "New-Type Urbanization and Urban-Rural Development."

The forum was sponsored by the DRC and held by the China Development Research Foundation.
