Innovation in purchasing: an access for upgrading competitiveness of Chinese manufacturing enterprises

Abstract:    

The Chinese enterprises are a facing big challenge against their advantage in low cost in the manufacture sector, under the background of a rapidly changing consumption and production model both at home and abroad and tighter competition in the world. As an important section in production and in the logistics, innovation in the purchasing model is required by the market and is at the same time an important way to upgrade the core competitiveness of the enterprises. It requires not only definite new purchasing strategy by the enterprises, but also favorable policy environment provided by the government.
