Abstract:
In 2003, under the background of sustained and rapid economic growth, remarkable changes took place in the price movement. The expected annual consumer price index was around 1.2%, slightly over the 1% target set at the beginning of the year. Prediction on 2004 market price sees substantial pressure of inflation, however the opposite trend is also backed by supporting factors. Provided that macro economic policies are appropriate and successful, then the overall market price growth will be kept within a healthy range with a 3% increase in the consumer price.
