Abstract:

Duplicate construction at low levels has been a hot issue and a hard nut to crack in China. Since the turning of the 21 century, it has once again become a serious problem troubling the economic development in China. It can be seen through the current situation of over investment and duplicate construction that duplicate construction varies with different industries. It is due to the nature of the industry in question, and is also due to economic standardization in the industry, and government supervision level in the industry. Therefore the efficient method to prevent excessive duplicate construction is to make discriminative supervision policy coupled with necessary macro-control.
