Abstract:
China's highway freight transportation is obviously plagued by six "non-coordination": the lack of coordination between the development of highway freight transportation and the demand of the country's social and economic development; the inadequacy of freight transport equipment and the endeavor at developing high-grade highways; the operation/organization of transport companies and the level of sophistication required by modern logistics; the reality of transportation management and the growth of transportation markets; the low level of information diffusion of freight transport organizations and the technological sophistication required by modern freight transportation, the backward administrative structure of the transportation sector and the demand for freight transport modernization.
