Abstract:

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and SA8000 are issues attracting an increasing concern by the international community. More than a moral appeal, it is also strict institutional constraint and a challenge facing China's enterprises and government. For the healthy development of China's enterprises, it is a must to recognize and strengthen CSR and to add the terms of "company social responsibility" in China's "Company Law" when it is amended.
