A delegation from the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), led by the vice-minister, Han Jun, made an extended visit to Russia and Hungary, July 24 – 30.

In Russia, they met with Igor Slyunyayev, Russia's minister of regional development, and officials from Russia's Agriculture Ministry, Wassily Leontief Research Center, Moscow Urban Economics Institute, and St Petersburg Land Resources and Land Management Committee to exchange ideas on urbanization, land reform, Silk Road economic belt development, and agriculture trade.

In Hungary, they visited the Internal Affairs and Agriculture Ministries, where they also discussed urbanization and land reform, as well as food security and agriculture. Taking part in the visit were He Yupeng, Wang Hui, Wang Bin, Li Qing, and Han Hui.
