Li Wei, minister of the DRC, met with EU ambassador to China, Markus Erderer, on Dec 16, and they discussed the roles of market, government, State-owned enterprises and China's local government debt issues.

Erderer also focused on the EU economy, and they vowed to strengthen cooperation between the DRC and the EU.

Hou Yongzhi, director-general of the DRC's Department of Development Strategy and Regional Economy, and Lan Weiban, vice-director-general of the International Cooperation Department, also attended the meeting.
