Li Wei, minister of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), met with Iwao Okamoto, president of the Japan-China Economic Association (JCEA), on Dec 16, and Li explained reforms decided at the Third Plenary Session of 18th CPC Central Committee held November 2013.

They also discussed issues affecting China and Japan's economic performance in 2014 and how to promote their bilateral trade and economic relations.

Yu Bin, director-general of the DRC's Department of Macroeconomic Research, and Lan Weiban, vice-director-general of the International Cooperation Department, also attended the meeting.
