CNNC SUFA Technology Industry Co Ltd is the first listed State-owned holding company in China’s nuclear power valve industry. It has been listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange since 1997. It is a leading manufacturing and supply base for industrial fluid machinery valves in China.

CNNC SUFA absorbed the Suzhou Valve Factory CNNC which was established in 1952, inheriting its main business activity, brands, QA and QC systems, manufacturing techniques, management and other assets.

The company services the petroleum, petrochemical, and chemical industries. It provides advanced standard industry valves to all kinds of fields domestically and internationally.

SUFA keeps track of and adopts international advanced standards. It was the first Chinese valve manufacturer to obtain API certification in 1982 and was granted DNV international quality certification ISO9001: 2000 and CE certification of the European Community in 2001. SUFA was subsequently licensed by different authorities, such as ABS (the U S), BV (France), DNV (Norway) and CCS (China) for valve manufacturing.

Since 1995, SUFA has obtained many other qualification certifications, including licenses issued by the China National Nuclear Safety Bureau (license of Qualified Designing for Civil Nuclear Pressure Equipment and license of Qualified Manufacturer) and qualified as a supplier to China Power.

In 2003, SUFA was certified as exempt from inspection of import and export commodities by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.

Since being listed, it has increased its financing, and introduced advanced technology, instruments and facilities for testing. SUFA has become a major manufacturer of high temperature and high pressure provisional hydrogenation, hard sealing wear-resistant valves for the coal chemical industry, large diameter valves, and other products for use at home and abroad. SUFA products are sold to more than 50 countries and regions. It has become one of the strongest, most capable valve manufacturers globally.
