The Third National Symposium on Biological Phase Separation and Phase Transition and the Annual Conference of the BSC Academic Subgroup of Phase Transition and Phase Separation of Biological Macromolecules are scheduled to be held from Sep 22 to 25 in Shanghai.

With a theme of Phase Transition and Human Health, the symposium will focus on basic theoretical issues of phase separation and transition of biological macromolecules and studies on the mechanism of protein’s phase separation and phase transition in physiological function performance and toxicologic pathology, as well as on new technologies and methods regarding phase separation of protein characterization.

Well-known scholars in the field will present the latest scientific research achievements, explore important issues and technical obstacles in phase transition and phase separation of biological macromolecules and build a platform for multidisciplinary development and extensive exchanges.

The symposium looks to promote the innovative development of human health and facilitate the rapid transformation of research-oriented clinical medicine and drug research in phase transition and phase separation of biological macromolecules.

The symposium will cover the following seven topics:

2. Phase separation, transition and cell signal transduction of proteins

3. Protein’s phase separation and transition in plants
