Established in November 2020, the Terahertz Biophysics Academic Subgroup of the Biophysical Society of China (BSC) plans to hold the 2022 National Conference on Terahertz Biophysics from April 22 to 24 in Xi’an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province.

Well-known academicians, experts and scholars will give reports on their latest research progress, cutting-edge theories and technologies in terahertz biophysics and related fields, and organize parallel sessions, as well as themed forums for promoting sci-tech development and academic exchanges in China’s terahertz field.

Plenary speeches, keynote speeches, invited speeches, oral presentations and poster presentations will be held at the conference. Excellent reports, as well as young scholars and workers will be announced and issued certificates by the BSC Terahertz Biophysics Academic Subgroup.

The conference will cover eight topics: terahertz sources, terahertz detectors, terahertz biophysics, terahertz biomedicine, terahertz imaging, biological effects of terahertz, high-field terahertz and optics, and development and application prospects for terahertz science and technology.
